The New Testament emphasizes life in the spirit. First Corinthians 14:15 speaks of praying in the spirit and singing in the spirit. This separates us from the Old Testament saints, for they were not born again or instructed to live in the spirit.

Ministers and laymen alike must learn to flow in the spirit, allowing the Holy Spirit to have His way in our life by being sensitive to His promptings to pray. We must never forget that the Bible tells us we are co-laborers with God in His plan on this earth!
